You will need ....

  • 1 Jar Millet, oat or rice Amazake
  • 250 g seasonal mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
  • 200 ml water
  • 1 small pinch salt
  • 300 ml soya, rice or almost milk
  • 1 dsp maple syrup or alternative sweetener to taste

AMAZAKE BERRY SMOOTHIE Directions

    Wash the berries and blend all the ingredients together in a liquidiser to form a rich and smooth shake. Chill and serve cold. For a hot version, put all the ingredients in a pan and bring to the boil. Simmer gently for 5 minutes then blend and serve. For added nutritional value, add 1 dsp of ground seeds or almonds to the mixture before blending
